Workout Wednesday

Today’s Workout: Sweat and StretchTM!

-Walk/Jog for 10 Minutes 

-Jump Rope for 10 Minutes 

-Cat Stretch: Eight Times, take four seconds to create the curve in your back.

-Hamstring Stretch: 30 Seconds each leg

-Spinal Twist: 30 seconds each side

-Hip Flexor Stretch: 30 Seconds each side

-Side Bend: 30 Seconds each side

-Quad Stretch: 30 Seconds each leg

-Calf Stretch: 30 Seconds each leg

-Chest Stretch: 30 Seconds each side

Make sure you are warm before completing the stretches.  You can read more about stretching here. You can substitute a longer jog for the jump rope.  Or, go for a brisk 30 minute minute walk in place of the other cardio.  Your goal is to break a sweat before you stretch!
